HOW TO USE:

To open the dispenser push the button on the top and at the same time pull it apart.

Place the batteries inside the dispenser on both sides.

Place the can inside the dispenser. (Make sure the dispenser valve is lined up in the middle of the spraying aperture).

Choose a preferred setting.

Close the dispenser and turn it on. (Make sure the dispenser is not facing you.)

Place Pestrol Ultra INDOOR dispenser in the central room, usually family room for optimum results. The dispenser should be placed about a ¼ meter below the ceiling.

Place Pestrol Ultra OUTDOOR dispenser outside on the ground, away from the barbeque and upwind from your entertaining area.

What are the active ingredients?
Pestrol Automatic Insect Control contains 9g/kg Natural Pyrethrins, 45g/kg Piperonyl Butoxide.
What is Pyrethrins?
Pyrethrins are derived from chrysanthemum daisies which are highly toxic to pests. Since they are directly extracted from the plant it makes them non-toxic to humans. Pyrethrins are biodegradable and break down very quickly.
What is Piperonyl Butoxide?
Piperonyl Butoxide is an organic compound and a synergist used to enhance the killing power of active ingredients. It also helps reduce the amount of the main active ingredient used.
How long does it take to work?
Within 30 minutes you will see a significant improvement in the elimination of Flies, Mosquitoes and most common household insects. After a few days, you will also notice a substantial decrease in Cockroach activity.
How long does a refill last?
The lifespan of your refills will depend on the frequency and settings used.
On average, for an INDOOR dispenser, a single can last around 4 weeks depending on settings.
For an OUTDOOR dispenser, the can will last 60 hours continuously, however only use it while entertaining outside, then switch the unit off.
How many Units do I need?

Is there any concern for any health issues with children or pregnant women around the spray?
There are no issues with the spray around children or even pregnant women. Our suggestion would just be to have the spray up higher so that your young one would not be able to grab at the unit or risk having it accidentally spray in their face.
Can I Use the Indoor Unit Outside?
If the area is partially enclosed the unit will work effectively. However, make sure to use it in the shortest setting. If the area is completely open, then the air circulation will affect the Indoor unit’s effectiveness. We recommend using the Outdoor Unit for outside, which dispersers micro-mist every 30, 60 or 120 seconds.
We have a mosquito problem and because of crim safe screening we rarely have them inside the house, BUT we can’t enjoy dusk meals outside as the mosquitoes go on a feeding frenzy. Can we use indoor ultra?
The Pestrol Ultra will certainly prevent Mozzie from entering your porch area and stop them from continuing on into your home. You will require the Pestrol OUTDOOR ultra system though. The indoor system will not spray out frequently enough.

Effective. Small amount of residue left on floor when the spray activated from above.
Ordering & Delivery process was efficient. Product easy to use. Was not convinced that it was as effective for as large an area as promoted especially with windows open. Effective in smaller enclosed areas.
I’ve been using it in a sheltered location on my balcony and have noticed a reduction in flying insects. I can’t use it indoors however – I’m sensitive / allergic to the spray (I get a similar reaction with certain scented candles).

Very satisfied with the Pestrol outdoor sprays. We placed one near our back door which always had flies around it. Within a few hours they were gone. As long as the spray is on (during daylight hours), spraying every 120 seconds the flies haven’t returned. My only complaint is you can’t set it for longer than 120 second intervals. Would be good to have a longer option.

“Oh No!” they shrieked. A few minutes later dozens, maybe even hundreds of them ran to the door begging me to let them out “We gotta get out of here, Please, Please… let us out, we can’t live here with Pestrol!” I taunted them saying “No, you have to stay, you have to stay, I want to watch you all die” until it wasn’t fun anymore and I opened the door and set them free.
