Midges usually fall for the same tricks that mosquitoes do. The Mozzie Assassin uses a UV light to attract the insects to the trap, it wouldn't be that effective during the day, as that light is not as visible to the insects.

Our Mozzie Assassin - Indoor Electronic Mosquito Trap uses a standard AU Plug into mains power to operate. It is not battery operated.

It took Ages before we caught any mosquitoes. But, it Has been catching them.
Very effective
Amazing product. Gets rid of mozzies without any nasty chemicals. As my daughter has a very strong reaction to mozzie bites this product provides peace of mind.

It is a nice looking little unit that is not noisy.
It actually works! It hasn’t trapped many mosquito’s but it has kept them out of my kids room throughout this wet summer. It’s light sound is also quite good as white noise.

not a fan – used for over a week and the unit has not enticed one mozzie or any other of the numerous flying bugs I have in the house. Very disappointed – great looking unit however placing it in a room ful of mozzies and not getting one in side the unit (yes it was switched on :)) big let down – have returned for a refund.
