Mice Multi Catch Bucket Trap is easy-to-use catch-and-release mice and rat trapping system that is safer to use and a humane way to control mice. It is designed to trap multiple mice inside a bucket and then you can release them away from your location.
This new product has been a massive success during the recent mouse plague. At Pestrol we would prefer to use a humane way to control rodents, because, we are concerned about the secondary eating of dead rodents that can affect our native wildlife. There is no baiting, therefore no concern that your pets could get harmed or there will not be any dead carcases and horrible smells to deal with.
It automatically resets and holds upwards of 30 mice, unlike other mouse traps which can catch up to 5 mice depending on the trap. Also, you can use this product repeatedly.
This trap is very easy to use as all you have to do is snap it onto a 5-gallon bucket (not included) and you can catch mice and rats easily. In a quantitative test, it has been proven to beat other mouse trap products by almost 4 times. However, if you are not inundated with a rodent infestation you can look at our other rodent control methods.

From the base of the ladder to the top of the Mice Multi Catch Bucket Trap is approximately 40cm.
The ladder is not adjustable.

Good idea but it needs some more attention to detail in the manufacturing process . Two segment tags are a little out of alignment on both my traps which causes them not quite fit together properly at the ends and they don’t close .
The balance on one is slightly out and the trapdoor is opened a bit. Easily fixed with a glue gun. .
I’ve glued mine together now and it’s very stable and should give years of use.
I’ve noticed that the rodents don’t like the ramp. It’s more successful if you place it near something they can jump up on . Boxes,brick’s etc
Postage time was disappointing as I can get products from the other side of the world quicker .
Overall I am happy to put it to use .
Quite a few months ago, bought a twin ‘Rodent Free’ pack. $220 worth or close to. 6 months later, still catching mice & the odd rat in traps in the ceiling. (We have feral neighbours who refuse to mow & clean their yard. I’m feeling I’ve been conned. Done absolutely nothing
Success! We caught multiple mice!
Worked a treat. Bought three, loaded them up with peanut butter and caught 11 mice, four rats in the first night. In two weeks, we caught about 50 rats and mice. The numbers have dropped off now, so we think we’ve cleared the infestation, but we’re still getting one or two rodents a week.
Haven’t caught a mouse or a rat as yet….but maybe that’s because it’s in the wrong spot!
We have only caught 2 mice so far, so we know it works, just not as well as we hoped. The swinging lid on one of the traps isn’t balanced correctly and needed a washer glued underneath to counteract it.
Haven’t managed to catch any so far…seems like the mice/rats are wary to climb up the ladder as they eat the bait at the bottom of the ladder but not the one on top. I will try to put it level with a shelf or fence or something

The bucket traps work very well, just remember to empty it regularly or it stinks to high heaven
Of the three mice traps I bought, this one was the only one that worked, and it worked great. Caught nearly all the mice that have been around my house (I live in the country so there are a lot). I chose this because most of the killing traps are incredibly cruel. This one is humane and I just released the mice at a park just out of town.
I was so excited to use this product and it was great quality. But I just couldn’t outsmart my rats. Moved it around a few spots and tried different baits but couldn’t catch them.

Work well for a live catch, just put some shredded paper in the bottom for a comfy landing. Release the poor buggers asap as they will die if they get cold.
