It really works
Auto function is good (on in the dark only option)and I like that the collector is transparent so you can see your catch, but I’d like a system that allows for disposal of the mozzies with no chance of escape. In my garage after a week it caught about 200 so no complaints, though Bunnings sell a “Gecko” device for half the price which catches a similarly big number
This device is great! I end up with a whole grave yard of mossies each morning when i check it. My baby isnt confused as having chicken pox anymore!
Works best in the dark – put it on in your room a few hours before going to sleep.
It wont get every single mossie – just the ones that are attracted to it, but thats quite a lot in its own right. I use the racquet or swatter for some strays. On particularly bad nights with lots of midges we still need to resort to a fan and/or nets, they’re just so tiny and noisy.
Machine has a blue light and a hum that i cant sleep with (im super sensitive though) but its fine in the ensuite for me.
Overall this is definitely money well spent!
i was a bit sceptical about this but it actually works checked the other day and had dead mozzies in it !
Very disappointed in the Magna inspect trap. Although it is very quiet when in use, it doesn’t seem to attract the mosquitoes. I’m using it in my lounge room and still have mozzies flying around. Probably best suited for a small darker area.
Bought this one night when I couldn’t sleep because I could constantly hear mosquitoes flying around near my head, I react badly to bites. Glad to say this is no longer an issue. We try to not let any mosquitoes in the house but it’s nice to know when they get in the trap will get them.
Our cat prefers to stay away from the trap when it’s running so it’s placed in a room away from where he sleeps and it doesn’t bother him. It’s also placed in a room away from the bedrooms because I could occasionally notice the fan running. This location doesn’t seem to affect its effectiveness.

My two sons and husband are allergic to mosquitos and the warm humid months usually bring utter misery as mosquitos always find a way inside and my family are then covered with hot red egg-sized itchy lumps. However the Magna Indoor Insect Trap has changed our lives. I put it on in the lounge room shortly before going to bed and every morning I find the trap loaded with dead and dying mozzies and amazingly nobody is bitten ! This has been the only thing that has worked (and I’ve tried every gadget on the market). Sometimes I put it in the hall outside my sons rooms while we are eating dinner and it never fails to get the mozzies hoping to hide and sneak out later. Since I bought the Magna Indoor Insect Trap nobody has had one bite ! This machine is worth the cost. I’d pay much for for such a spectacular result !

It is not the most attractive product but it works extremely well. It is in a large kitchen/family room with high ceilings. We have two dogs that want to constantly go in and out of the house so we leave the door open which allows mosquitoes to fly in. We could see the mosquitoes flying around the room and now they are trapped in the indoor insect trap. The timer facility is great. I generally set it for an additional 5 hours when I go to bed and check and empty the chamber of dead mosquitoes about every two or three days. I have read some reviews that mention fan noise but the one we have is very quiet.
It is a great product and I thoroughly recommend it.
However, the optional boosters are a waste of time and money. They emit a strange and unpleasant odour and do not enhance the performance of the mosquito trap.
I react very badly to mosquito bites and there seems to be a plague of them this year. I have not had a bite since we have had the pestrol product and when I emptied the catchment it was full of mosquitoes. I am very happy with my purchase

Best Mozzie Control I have ever used. Nice soft blue glow and not loud at all.
We own a few different Pestrol mosquito traps and they all work well, the Magna Indoor trap being no exception. The trap catches mosquitos very well and other flying insects. I normally use the Pestrol traps with a booster and the results have been fantastic. I’ve knocked a star off the rating only for the operating noise. The Magna indoor trap has a noisier fan than any of the other Pestrol products we own. Works a treat but I’d only consider it for a location where the noise won’t disturb you. It’s not overly loud but certainly louder than other Pestrol mosquito traps that I’ve used.

I cannot comment yet on longevity of product as I only received it yesterday. But, it definitely works! It was set up in the bedroom last night and on the first night it caught 6 mosquitos.
