Yates Anti Rot Fungicide Concentrate – 500ml

Yates Anti Rot Fungicide Concentrate – 500ml takes care of collar rot, Phytophthora root in citrus, avocados, ornamentals and downy mildew grapes. This fungicide increases the plant’s defence against diseases and is absorbed by the foliage all the way to the roots. Additionally, it has an easier use due to its spray and measure bottle and it also has a child-resistant cap.

How to use

  • SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE.
  • DO NOT spray when shade temperatures exceed 35°C.
  • DO NOT spray when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.
  • Applying as a protective spray will give more effective control. Ensure thorough leaf coverage.

Young or small citrus and recently transplanted trees

Disease: Phytophthora Root Rot, Collar Rot

Rate:5-10 ml/L

How to apply: Use a higher rate under higher disease risk conditions (eg. for trees in heavy clay soil). Apply each year as a preventative foliar spray, in late winter prior to flowering and again in autumn when fruit are approaching maturity. Spray until leaves are just wet.
Use 5-10mL/L rate for container-grown Mandarin trees. Removal of fruit from affected trees will assist recovery.

Please help me to understand equation to spray ornamentals is 1 teaspoon (5mL/L) “how much water do you use?” Thank you Ruth asked on 20 April 2024

Hi Ruth, For the Yates Anti Rot Fungicide Concentrate, the mixing ratio is 1 teaspoon (which is equivalent to 5 mL) of the concentrate per liter of water. For Example: If you want to make 1 liter of the fungicide solution, you would mix 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of the concentrate with 1 liter of water.

Hi Yates, After using anti rot in my spray bottle on my plants, what is the shelf life before discarding? Or does it have to be mixed for every application? Thanks Glenda Glenda asked on 11 February 2024

Hey Glenda,
For concentrates such as Yates Anti Rot Fungicide, you would only keep the mixed solution for no more than 24 hours. Always mix what is required for the task at hand to prevent any wasted solution.

  1. This product is great for the subtropics. When it is humid and hot it has prevented many plants from rotting. It is very well priced and I got it delivered to an Island. Thanks Pestrol
