The Wind Powered Bird Deterrent would need to be placed on or close to the area where the birds are perching to have an effect on them.

A flat surface would be more efficient for the Wind POwered Bird Deterrent. If you had it on a slop, the weight would be off balance, and you'd fine it wouldn't rotate with the wind quite as well when angled on a slope.

If you can attach the Wind Powered Bird Deterrent to the solar panel, you should be able to use that, however, I would recommend our solar panel guard kit instead, this would be a much more effective option.
