Our Portable, Battery Operated Ultrasonic Pest Repeller (also known as our Pestrol Portable Rodent Free) will repel unwanted rats, mice and even help control cockroaches in difficult-to-reach areas where you may not have access to electricity. Sufficient intensity and duration of the ultrasonic sound wave can attack the auditory and nervous systems of most common rodents. They will attempt to avoid the area and give up staying at your place. It’s important to note that there are limitations with ultrasonic waves, ie they can’t penetrate through obstacles or more around corners. If you require a Rat and Mice repeller with multiple technologies, including electromagnetic pulses that get sent through the wiring in your home/work, then you can consider the Pestrol Rodent Free
ULTRASONIC PEST CONTROLLER projects a direct frequency of 25,000 Hz to 26,000 Hz intermittently for 0.4 seconds every 8 seconds. It will affect rats and mice badly and they will never get used to the undulatory signal emitted by ULTRASONIC PEST CONTROLLER. Pests will never get used to it and they will be forced to move on.
The Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller uses a 1 x 9V alkaline battery (not supplied) and will last approximately six months.

We suggest removing the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller - Portable from the engine bay before driving as it has a small screw hook for horizontal mounting it wouldn't be the most secure in an engine bay while the car is moving. The shell is made from plastic and might not withstand the heat from an active engine, which could damage the unit.

It's designed to repel pests by emitting ultrasonic waves that are irritating to pests but inaudible to humans. For effective use in a car, it's best to place the repeller in an area where it's not blocked by other objects to ensure the ultrasonic waves can disperse freely throughout the vehicle. A good location could be on the dashboard or in a central cup holder. Make sure that the device faces the interior of the car rather than towards the windows or doors to maximize the area of coverage. However if you are concerned about the engine bay - the unit can be left inside, however, ensure that the unit is removed before driving.

I installed my unit about two weeks ago and it seems like the product works as described.
I have an awesome cat who loved bringing me its prize mouse on the occasional hunt. I guess she now needs a new hobby!
My main problem was with a possum that would enter my ceiling and absolutely run a riot.
The pestrol seem to have actually scared it away.. I haven’t heard it since I installed the unit… Pestrol is a good investment.. finally a company that doesn’t pull your chain with misleading promises.
I noticed the build quality of the unit and it made me optimistic immediately. You can tell its not just cheap junk.
Seems to work, haven’t seen a eodent or cockroach since setting it up in the back shed

I received this item as a bonus when I purchased other items. I had noticed rats were leaving their droppings in the corners of my alfresco so I decided to try the pest repeller by placing it in one corner. Two weeks later and there is no evidence of rats and although it is not meant to scare the birds away, the added bonus has been that they no longer use the room as their home.
DO ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLER REALLY WORK? ON THE WEB THE ANSWER IS NO HOW DO WE KNOW HOW TRUE IT IS, WITH OUT A DOUBT YOU CARRY OUT TESTS. WHY ISN’T THERE VIDEO FOOTAGE OF THESE TESTS INSTEAD OF VERBAL COMMENTS HOW WELL DOES IT REALLY WORK.
So far excellent results, there is no evidence of rats in our chook house.

Can still hear rats in my roof but only for a short time so maybe there entering then hearing the sound then leaving
Not sure if it really works
With continual use to date in unpowered shed. Initially seemed to disturb vermon & briefly appeared to eliminate with the ceasing of droppings for a few weeks, however, droppings have re-appeared on previous surfaces.
