Thrive All Purpose Soluble Plant Food is a fast-acting, complete, soluble fertiliser perfect for feeding a wide range of plants including ornamental flowers, shrubs and trees, as well as veggies, herbs and lawns. It is a specially formulated mix of phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium and trace elements that encourages healthy green foliage growth as well as flowers and fruiting. It feeds through both the foliage and the roots.
If you want healthy strong growth, vibrant blooms and greener foliage for your plants, you need to know that these plans need balanced feeding. Yates Thrive offers a range of complete plant foods, suitable for specific plant types. They provide the correct blend of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for specific plant needs. It works quickly – so you see results sooner.
For most plants, dissolve one level spoonful (8 grams) in 4.5 litres of water and apply to an average shrub (1m tall) or over an area of 1-2 square metres. Re-apply every 2 weeks during the growing season.

The only directions I can see from Thrive All Purpose Soluble Plant Food for mixing is 8grams per 4.5L of water. For a 2L solution I would imagine anywhere between 3-4g.

The primary difference lies in their nutrient compositions and intended uses. The Vegetable & Flower Fertilizer provides the extra boost required for flowering and fruiting, which is not as critical for non-flowering plants.
For example, while both fertilizers might support overall plant health, the Vegetable & Flower Fertilizer would be more beneficial for tomato plants and roses during their blooming and fruiting stages due to its higher phosphorus content, which promotes flower and fruit development.
