The Terminator Mosquito Killer Trap is one of the original tried and tested mosquito control products in the range.

The Mosquito Killer is cleverly designed to simulate human prey through some of the latest features found in mosquito traps. A built-in heat plate to simulate human heat, a lure replicating human breath and sweat, a photocatalyst process that emits minute quantities of CO² and a UV light. All of the above are proven for increased performance in attracting pesky mosquitoes.
A powerful fan then creates a vacuum to suck the creatures into the extra-large catchment area, where they dehydrate and die. The design is for effective use outside and the mosquito killer trap is waterproof. Research has shown that placing the mosquito trap in a shaded area increases the mosquito capture rate and the unit will cover up to 1500m² area.
The optional Cigarette lighter adaptor (12 vaults) – makes the Terminator Mosquito Trap the ideal companion for all outdoor activities, even away from home. Camping / Boating and mosquitoes don’t have to be a problem anymore.

Your Terminator Mosquito Control Trap is designed to reduce the mosquito population. It may take several weeks of use to reduce the population to the point that your mosquito problem is under control. Your Terminator Mosquito Trap is not designed to compete with humans nearby, e.g. at a barbecue. When planning an outdoor event, you must operate the Terminator for an extended time before the event. It is advised that you run the Terminator 24/7 during the height of your mosquito season to ensure you can enjoy your outdoor activities.

While the Mozzie Trap will begin to catch immediately if there is any mosquito activity in the vicinity, it may take 6-8 weeks of use to reduce local populations to the point that breeding cycles are interrupted. You may discontinue the use of The Terminator at this point but subsequent re-infestation will occur after rain.

Thank you for the update! The lead cable for the Pestrol Terminator Mosquito Killer and Trap is 6 meters long. This provides ample length for positioning the unit in your backyard.
For optimal placement, it’s best to position the trap in a shaded area, away from strong winds, and close to areas where mosquitoes are likely to gather, such as near standing water or dense foliage.

The Terminator Mosquito Killer and Trap is designed for insects. It traps by attracting the insects via a UV light, then a fan in the centre will pull them through into the trap chamber below where they dehydrate and die. The way this trap works wouldn't trap Geckos.

That little brass valve on your Terminator Mosquito Killer and Trap is not a function we typically use here, but you can use that valve to connect a CO2 cannister to the trap to help lure in mosquitoes.
As these cannisters are not readily and easily available, we always recommend using the Terminator Boosters if you need to up the catching rate on your machine.

Rubbish – it died after 6 months & Pestrol refused to refund it.
They admitted it was faulty, and sent it back “repaired”, only it was missing parts and more broken than before.
If you do buy one, good luck with their terrible customer service when you have to inevitably return it.
Love it works a treat I hope scratching and spraying are going a thing of the past

Globe died after short time. Purchased 2 replacements to make most of postage. Within a month the transformer is dead. Replacement transformer is out of stock. I guess I’m not the only one. Waste of money and belongs in the garbage as pictured. Selling 2 replacement globes if interested plus postage haha
This is our 2nd one and seems to be working well
It certainly has rid us of all the little moths and working on our 1/4 acre block slowly.
Prompt delivery, it does catch the moths well and there are fewer mosquitoes- though not all gone (yet!)
I have not seen a mozzie in my backyard so far
It does seem to work but it probably has caught more moths than mosquitos

I bought this for outside. Seem to be catching a lot of small moths, I can’t see the mosquitoes in the collection tray. However I have noticed a reduction in the mosquitoes on the verandah that hide behind the chairs and in the plants. I put it behind the chairs which isn’t quite what the instructions say. I leave it on 24/7. If it lasts a couple of years I would say it is worth the money compared to a normal bug zapper.
This mozzie catcher is fantastic, it has caught so many mozzie and other bugs in a short period of time, very happy with the purchase, not so happy that this is our second trap, first one lasted just over a year, just out of the warranty period and because we had so many baits left from the first one we decided to get another. Hopefully this one will last bit longer….in saying that we have had it on 24/7, undercover at the recommended height….still we thought it should last longer than that.

Simple to set up, easy to empty, mosquito free on our deck now. Had it for a month and it is awesome.
I love the terminator.
I also bought a $15 24 Hour Timer 1 Socket for the terminator to turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn to ensure it is on every night during summer.
It does the job and if I have a plague of mosiqotoes I do also spray the house/garden as no product can be 100%. I try to avoid using chemicals and why I bought the terminator.
All I need now is all my neighbours to buy one.
