General Information and Baiting Strategy

Effective Baiting Practices

• Eliminate Competition: Remove all other food sources to increase bait effectiveness.
• Secure Placement: Use lockable, weather-resistant bait stations to protect bait from weather and non-target animals.
• Monitoring and Replenishment: Check bait stations frequently, especially in the first ten days, and replenish eaten bait as needed.
• Duration of Baiting: Continue baiting for at least two weeks to significantly reduce rodent populations.

Environment and Safety

• Clean-Up: After treatment, remove all remaining bait and bait containers.
• Disposal: Search for and collect dead rodents; dispose of carcasses by burning or burying, not in refuse bins.
• Handling Precautions: Wear rubber gloves when disposing of bait material or rodent carcasses to prevent contact with potentially harmful substances.
