    Surefire DICAMBA M Herbicide effectively controls a wide array of broadleaf weeds, ensuring your turf remains pristine and your crops thrive without competition.

    Weeds Controlled Include:

    • Common in All States: Bindy-eye, Cape weed, Clover, Dandelion, Dock, and Thistles.
    • Specific to Qld, NSW, Tas, SA & WA: Fat hen, Purple top, Red-flowered mallow, Stagger weed, and Swine cress.

    Application Instructions

    Turf and Lawn Applications

    • Small Areas and Golf Greens: Mix 100mL with 15L of water to cover 150 square meters.
    • Bowling Greens: Use 900mL in 200L of water for 1,400 square meters.
    • Large Areas such as Fields and Fairways: Apply 6.5L per hectare in 250-400L of water.

    Best Practices for Use

    • Mowing: Do not mow for at least 2 days before or after application to ensure maximum herbicide uptake.
    • Weather Conditions: Avoid application during immediate rain forecasts or when dew is present on the weeds.
    • Soil Conditions: Ensure the soil is not waterlogged and has adequate fertility for best results.
    • Weed Growth Stage: Spray only actively growing weeds for effective control.
    • Post-Application Care: Avoid fertilizing for 2 weeks and keep grazing animals off treated areas for 7 days.

    Hi is Surefire DICAMBA M Selective Herbicide safe to use on Bentgrass and Tall Fescue lawns? I'm u sure as label mentions turf but I'm unable to find further info. Thanks Ryan asked on 4 October 2024

    Hey Ryan,
    You can find a booklet with in depth instructions for Surefire Dicamba M Selective Herbicide towards the bottom of the item description. This will go over mixtures, application and various situations where this product can be safely used. If you're unable to find Bentgrass and Tall Fescue specifically, I would imagine it's not registered for use on those grass types.

    Hey Dianne,
    Surefire Dicamba M Selective Herbicide should be fine so long as you follow the instructions of use. Without knowing the type of grass it's difficult to give an exact answer, but try a smaller area first before proceeding to treat everything. In the description of this product under "Downloads" you can find the user booklet which will go over different mixing types and situations.

    How is this different to Kamba m for residential lawn application ?. Colin asked on 9 September 2024

    Hey Colin,
    I'm not familiar with Kamba M, but in my searching I can see that it uses the same active ingredients as Surefire DICAMBA M Selective Herbicide. Both products on the label are 80g/L DICAMBA and 340g/L MCPA.

    Surefire Dicamba M Selective Herbicide is suitable for use on most common lawn types like couch and kikuyu. However, it should not be used on Buffalo grass, as it can cause significant damage to this type of turf. For Buffalo grass, it's recommended to use a herbicide that specifically mentions compatibility with Buffalo, such as one containing Bromoxynil

    I've used Kamba M for years on my Buffaloe grass. While it sets it back a little it soon recovers and the sacrifice is worth the gain.
