The Sundstrom Mask and Filter Pro Kit, specifically the SR100 model, includes an ABE1 filter and a P3 particle filter. This combination is suitable for protecting against organic vapors, inorganic gases, acid gases, and particles, including dust and mists.

When heating lead-based paint with a heat gun, hazardous lead vapors and particles are released. The SR100 Pro Kit, with its ABE1 filter for gases and vapors and the P3 particle filter for particulates, offers comprehensive protection against these hazards. The ABE1 filter captures organic vapors, while the P3 filter handles fine particulate matter, including those from lead paint.

For optimal protection, ensure the mask fits well and is worn correctly. Regularly check the filters for saturation and replace them as needed according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Always ensure good ventilation when working with lead-based paints
