Installation
- Before installation, please charge the repeller under direct sunlight for 12 hours or charge via USB for 4 hours. One of the PIR sensors will turn red when charging.
- Assemble the poles one by one using the supplied connectors.
- Turn on the unit by holding down the Power/Blue Light button for 2 seconds. It will go through a self-check mode briefly then the unit is ready to go.
- Connect the repeller to the pole and push the pole into the ground.
Instructions
- Hold down the power button to turn on the unit.
- The repeller will activate if the PIR motion sensor detects animal movement. If there are no animals in the detection area, the repeller will remain on standby mode.
- No matter which direction the animal comes from, they will be detected by one of the 3 PIR sensors.
- The Repeller will start to work automatically by flashing LED lights, emitting ultrasonic sound (15-50kHz frequency) and an alarm sound. (The alarm sound can be turned off as required)
- By default, the blue light and alarm sound is switched on, this can be turned on/off by pressing the respective buttons.
a) How to turn off the blue light?
To turn off the blue light, press the button “Power/Blue Light” once, then the blue light will be turned off. If you want to turn the blue light on again, press the button again. In the evening the blue light can’t be turned off.
b) How to turn off the alarm sound?
To turn off the alarm sound, press the button “Sound” once, the alarm sound will be turned off in the next cycle. If you want to turn on the alarm sound again, press the “Sound” button once. Note: When the alarm sound is on, the green indicator light is on and when the alarm sound is off, there is no green indicator light.
Modes
a. Alarm/Ultrasonic/LED lights – This mode will deter all animals and birds – Green indicator light is on
b. Ultrasonic/LED Lights – This mode will deter mainly animals, however, birds will be deterred by the bright flashing LED lights – Green indicator light off
Notes
Please install the repeller in a sunny location.
If there is not enough sunshine, charge the repeller via the USB cable.
For better results keep the head of the repeller 20 cm above the ground.
Do not cover the PIR sensor, otherwise, the repeller will not work.
Keep the repeller away from your children and pets.
The repeller does not work while charging with the USB.

Works really well, but have covered the blue light with gaffer tape so that it doesn’t look as though the cops have come to call each evening!

Terrible customer service with faulty product. Nearly a year later and 40 emails back and forth I finally have a refund. 4 attempts at getting a product that works with no luck. Instead of being motion sensing it continually going off every 30 seconds. It took a threat of reporting my payment to the bank before a refund was processed.

My maple trees are coming back to life. These mature trees have been absolutely decimated over the last few years, and many limbs have died. Now I have a fresh flush of leaves. I must admit that the flashing blue and white lights at night took a while to get used to.
Works a treat, haven’t had any of the neighbourhood cats in the backyard since introducing this little sentinel. Well worth the investment.

Doing the trick keeping a possum from my garden, will be getting more for other areas of the garden.
I have young fruit trees that were being visited by all manner of furry creatures that would either go over or under the existing electric fencing. Wombats, kangaroos, wallabies and rabbits have all stopped visiting this small (about 20 m by 20 m) part of the farm since I installed this product. It doesn’t seem to bother the echidna but they aren’t interested in the trees either.
The audible frequencies can be switched off which is desirable if you are in close proximity to other houses. The first burst of ultrasound is noticeable to me if I trip the sensor while weeding close to the active device but a lot of folks hear nothing. The blue flashing led cannot be turned off at night as far as I can tell.
It’s good on a farm or large property. I wouldn’t use it in a suburban backyard.
I was good until my Neighbour’s complained that they could hear the high pitched noise in their backyard which is probably. 40 metres away. Out of courtesy I’ve had to switch it off so I’m not happy. I understood these were silent to the human ear.
Great device for some applications but with issues: My problem rabbits and Wallabee in suburban bush terrain. The blue LED cannot be switched off. At night my neighbours think it’s a Police raid. I had to modify. The sensitivity of the sensors at 360 degrees is disaster on windy nights. The repeller activates constantly and loses power after a while allowing animals to feast. Set high in a vegetable plot or field above any plant movement it is probably great. It is effective on still nights as my plants have proved. But the Elite is now my ‘go-to’ deterrent.
The SolarOutdoor Animal Repeller 360 has worked perfectly to keep Wallabies, Possums, Rats and Mice away from our roses and other plants that we are growing. Sharing our boundary with a National Park has certainly some disadvantages. However the Pestrol Repaller has done the trick to keep these animal away.
