For best results with the Snake Repeller, drive the stake completely into the ground, leaving a small section above ground to place the head of the unit onto the stake. This will allow the vibration to reverberate completely through the spike and will travel further through the soil.

The Snake Repellers have a more audible function when you set it to the 200 - 900Hz range, this will occassional make a beeping noise alongside the vibration of the unit. The 400Hz range is less audible and less likely to scare off other creatures in the yard. I couldn't say for certain what effect the snake repeller would have on Possums, but as possums are more climbers and don't spend too much time on the ground, I doubt they would feel any of the vibrations coming from the unit.

Well I didnt have any snakes before and I still done have any snakes now. I just wonted to make sure it stayed that way. It would of been handy if the solar panel could be remote from the unit. Where I have it has a lot of trees so charging is a challenge

It appears to be working. We did have a surprise 2 Sundays ago when a snake decided to slither up towards our shed. I have now placed the Snake Aways in the front garden and near the water tank. We haven’t had anymore visits.
The week before we ordered our first snake deterrent we had four snakes close to our dwelling on the path and under the clothesline. Since installing the devices we have had none. Definitely seems to do the job
