Selleys White for Life Silicone Sealant – 300g

Selleys White for Life Silicone Sealant – 300g is a brilliant white silicone sealer that looks brand new all of the time. It has a five-year mould and mildew resistance rating, as well as a 25-year crack and peel resistance rating. It’s best used near showers, bathtubs, spas, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures.

Suitable for : Ceramic, Glazed and porcelain fixtures, Powder coated aluminium, Plastic laminates, Rubber, Glass, Stainless steel

Clean up spills right away; the sealant will keep typical stains from penetrating for up to 10 minutes.

How to use:

Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Clean and dry the surface with turps.
Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle, then cut the cartridge tip and fit the nozzle.
Apply with consistent pressure using a caulking gun, such as Selleys Light Speed caulking gun, to ensure sealant is pressed into the joint.
Within 5-10 minutes of application, scrape with a spatula dipped in detergent water.
Clean up with turps before product skins.
Sealant will cure in 72hrs.

Limitations:

It’s not possible to paint it. Finish painting seven days before applying sealant.
Not suitable for aquariums, food or drinking water contact, permanent immersion in water, or metals other than aluminium and stainless steel.
