Selleys Shoe Fix – 50ml

• Always use in a well-ventilated area.
• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
• Remove the cap carefully and pierce the seal before use.

Application Methods:

Contact Method (for larger repairs):

1. Apply an even coat of glue to both surfaces.
2. Let it dry for about 1 minute until it forms a tacky film.
3. Align surfaces carefully and press firmly together—bonding is immediate.
4. Wipe the nozzle clean and replace the cap immediately after use.

Wet Bond Method (for small repairs):

1. Apply glue to one surface only and press both surfaces together immediately.
2. Hold or lightly clamp in place until dry.
3. Clean excess glue with turpentine before it sets.

Limitations & Tips:

• Not suitable for Polyethylene or Polypropylene plastics.
• Some vinyl and plastics may discolor or harden—test on a hidden area first.
• For porous surfaces, apply a thin sealing layer, let it dry, then reapply glue.
• Clamping or placing a heavy object on the repair will strengthen the bond.
• Maximum strength is achieved after 3 days, but items can be used after 1 day.

Clean-Up:

• Use acetone (nail polish remover) to remove uncured glue.
• Once cured, glue can be sanded or scraped off.
