Selleys Liquid Nails Instant Hold 290ml

Selleys Liquid Nails Instant Hold 290ml is a premium quality formulation with advanced polymer construction that can instantly hold up to 400kg per m2 on any building material, even vertical surfaces. It adheres to wet and damp surfaces and it is suitable to be used indoor and outdoor.

Selleys Liquid Nails Instant Hold 290ml is UV, heat and water-resistant.

Can be used for:

Timber, masonry, glass, MDF, concrete, tiles & ceramics, plasterboard, particleboard, some plastics and metals.

How to use:

• Ensure surfaces are clean and free from grease or lose particles.
• Use a high thrust caulking gun and the supplied v-notch nozzle to apply in vertical stripes 5cm apart. Ensure the v shape is angled upward when applying.
• Position materials and press together firmly.
• Due to the high initial hold of the product, support during curing is not usually required (subject to weight limitations for non-porous surfaces). Holds instantly but must not be disturbed until cured (up to 48 hours). Adjustable (e.g. can be straightened for up to 15 minutes).

Limitations:

Not for PE, PP, PTFE and some rubbers

Cleaning up:

Clean up with mineral turps before the adhesive cures.

Tips:

• Usually, mechanical fasteners are required for only 8 hours on porous surfaces and a strong bond is achieved in 24 hours and continues to strengthen over 2-3 days. Cures in 7 days.
  Expect longer times for thicker applications, less porous surfaces and in cold weather.
• Adheres to wet/poor seasoned timber.
• Bridges Gaps up to 9mm.
• Paintable after 24 hours.
