Selleys Knead It Aqua

Selleys Knead It Aqua is a co-extruded epoxy repair technique that can be kneaded by hand and sets quickly. It’s easy to use, doesn’t sag, run, or drip, and hardens in 20-30 minutes, making it ideal for repairing generators, water, and fuel pumps. One hour after mixing, it can be drilled, sawed, sanded, filed, tapped, machined, or painted.

How to use:

1. Remove all grease, grime, and dust from the surface. Prior to cleaning, roughen the bond region for the best results.
2. Remove the required amount of material. On the remaining portion, replace the disc. To avoid smearing your hands, wear gloves. To mix, knead with your fingers until the colour is uniform. Warm to room temperature if mixing is difficult
3. Work the material vigorously into the surface to be mended (within 12 minutes of mixing) and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. If necessary, shape with a mould. If the material adheres to your fingers, push it in place using plastic wrapping.
4. Remove excess and hand wipe with water or damp cloth before hardening begins for a smooth appearance.
5. Before the initial hardening, trim away any excess. Prior to the initial hardening, clean any residues with acetone. Once fully cured, the excess can be sanded or cutaway.
6. Knead-It Aqua will harden and produce a firm bond after 20-30 minutes. At lower temperatures, allow for longer cure times. Knead-It Aqua can be drilled, sanded, machined, filed, sawed, or painted after 60 minutes.
7. After each use, thoroughly wash hands with soap and water.
