Selleys All Clear

Selleys All Clear is a multipurpose sealant for longer-lasting protection that can protect you from water leakage and seepage around your home. It works on wet, oily and dirty surfaces and provides a strong adhesion.

Selleys All Clear is mould and mildew resistant. It is suitable to be used on metal, timber, glass, glazed tiles, brick and stone.

How to use:

1. The surface must be free from dust, loose particles and soap residue. If required, clean with turps. Porous surfaces must be dry.
2. Cut cartridge, fit nozzle and cut to size. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun.
3. Apply with a caulking gun, forcing the product into the gap. Press into cracks or surfaces by pushing sealant ahead of nozzle.
4. Smooth sealant surface immediately with tool dipped in turps.

Limitations:

• May damage some plastics e.g. polystyrene and polycarbonate.
• Not for permanent water immersion e.g fish tanks.
• Not suitable for use over silicones.
• Not suitable for polystyrene foam.

Cautions:

• Use only in a well-ventilated area.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes and breathe vapours.

Tips:

• Wet Surfaces: Can be applied to clean, wet non-porous surfaces e.g. metals, glass, glazed tiles – not wet porous surfaces e.g. concrete, timber. Remove as much water as possible, preferably with acetone. Keep nozzle close to the surface so sealant contacts the surface immediately.
• Flatten immediately into joints. Adhesion improves on drying.
• Skins immediately, maximum toughness achieved over several days.
• Paintable immediately with water-based paints. For oil-based paints undercoat first with water-based paint.
• Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C.
