    How to Use

    1. Shake the can well before use.
    2. Hold the container upright when spraying.
    3. For surface treatments, spray from a distance of 20-30 cm directly onto surfaces.
    4. For crack and crevice applications, use the provided nozzle for precise treatment.
    5. Pay particular attention to pest harborages and hiding spots.
    6. Allow the treated area to dry completely before re-entry.

    Will SECLIRA be affective as a surface spray over an areas where shot hole wood borers have established galleries in the wood? Will it; a) deal with any borers that exit the holes? b) seep into the galleries and affect what is in there? Steve Kneebone asked on 14 October 2024

    Hey Steve,
    Seclira Pressurised Insecticide 397g does not have Wood borers as one of the pests that this product targets. A more suitable product for your purpose may be Boracol 200RH.

    How do you use ie direct spray or surface spray or both? If a surface spray how long does it last? Is it safe for plants or spray a garden area. Vicki Billings asked on 19 April 2024

    Seclira Pressurised Insecticide is versatile and can be used both as a direct spray to target flying insects in the air and as a surface spray to create a residual barrier that continues to kill insects that come into contact with treated areas. Regarding safety for plants, Seclira Pressurised Insecticide is generally safe for use around plants as long as it is applied as directed and not directly on foliage. It is designed primarily for use on non-porous surfaces to control insects and is not intended for widespread application in garden areas where it might come into contact with plants. Be cautious and always follow label directions to avoid unintended harm to plant life or beneficial insects.

    Hey Elisha,
    Seclira Pressurised Insecticide works to control Ants, Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, Flies, House Crickets, Mosquitoes, Pillbugs and Spiders. It has not been registered for use with fruit flies.

    Seclira Pressurised Insecticide 397g hasn't been tested or registered for use against confused flour beetles, I couldn't say to it's efficacy in controlling these insects.
