1. Mow the existing lawn closely.
2. Prior to application, shake the box well.
3. For best results, apply approximately 2 handfuls (28g) per square metre, moving backward while scattering the seed evenly.
4. Water the area deeply using a soft spray and maintain even moisture levels for the first 3 weeks.
5. Refrain from mowing for the initial 3 weeks post-application. When you do mow, ensure you don’t cut off more than 1/3 of the growth.
6. After 3 months, for sustained growth, fertilize the entire lawn with Scotts Lawn Builder All Purpose Slow Release Lawn Fertiliser.

When to Use

Scotts Lawn Builder Lawn Thickener shows the best results when used in Spring and Autumn in colder regions. For those in warmer states, it’s ideal for Autumn and Winter. However, it’s advisable to avoid application during extreme weather conditions.
