    How to Use

    • For Blackberry: Mix 200mL of Tree & Blackberry & Woody Weedkiller – 250ml per 12 litres of water. Spray leaves and stems thoroughly during active growth (late spring to early autumn). One application is usually enough, but treat regrowth after hardening off. Avoid spraying bushes with mature or near-mature fruit.

    • For Woody Weeds (e.g., eucalyptus, wattle seedlings): Mix 200mL with 1.1 litres of kerosene or diesoline. For plants up to 5cm base diameter, spray or paint stems from ground level to 30cm height. Drilling small holes or wounding stems helps herbicide penetration.

    • Use only as directed and apply when plants are actively growing for best results.

    How long before tree root can be cut with chainsaw? Nick asked on 20 March 2025

    When using Richgro Tree & Blackberry & Woody Weedkiller, you should wait at least 6 months before cutting the treated tree root with a chainsaw. The product instructions state: "DO NOT burn off, cut or clear for 6 months after treatment". This waiting period allows the herbicide to fully penetrate the root system and ensures maximum effectiveness in killing the woody weeds or tree roots.

    Hi this product has been recommended to kill a large tree root in my garden. What ratio Tree blackberry & woody weed killer to water should I use? Recommended to drill holes in tree stump. I’ve tried salt - didn’t work. I hope you can help! Meredith asked on 6 April 2024
