    Rechargeable Mosquito Trap – White is a brand new release from Pestrol. Pestrol has been selling mosquito traps as part of our DIY range for over 15 years and we continue to strive to always update products or add new products to our exciting range.

    Many customers have always asked if we had a mozzie trap that could be used on mains power but also can be portable/rechargeable. Regrettably, up until now, that wasn’t available.

    Australia is a fantastic country to go and explore, now we have the opportunity of taking with us a portable mosquito trap or use when perhaps electricity is not an option. When placing the unit, we recommend keeping the unit off the ground preferably, away from another competing light source and away from us to draw the mozzies away from where we could be sitting.

    • 3-in-1 Bug Zapping and Catching Technology: Due to the design the strong UV light is effective from a 360-degree angle. The optional booster (included) will maximize your catch by attracting more insects to the trap.

    How to Use

    • Press Button Once: The unit works by attracting the mozzies and other insects to the trap where the whisper-quiet fan will suck them down into the storage chamber.
    • Press Button Twice: The unit has the above function, plus the zapping mode.
    • Press Button Three Times: Unit is switched off.

    Can the rechargeable Mosquito Trap be charged on a car cigarette charger? How many amps? John-Michael asked on 12 November 2024

    Hey John,
    The Rechargeable Mosquito Trap - White can be charged using a power supply of 5V/1A or 5V/2A. I don't believe this would be able to be charged with a car cigarette adapter.

    Our Terminator sounds like it would be more suitable for your purposes, that unit, while not rechargeable, does have a cigarette adapter you can purchase as an optional extra

    Yes, the Rechargeable Mosquito Trap - White is an electronic device which will use a zapper and a fan to pull dead insects inside a trap chamber, it would be safe to use around a dog.

    Does your indoor rechargeable mosquito trap generate co2 like a human target? michael lawson asked on 14 January 2024

    Hey Michael,
    No, the Rechargeable Mosquito Trap while not produce CO2 or similar smell on it's own, it uses a UV light to draw mosquitoes in from a distance until they're close enough to get pulled into the trap, either on the electric grid, or through the fan in the centre into the trap chamber at the bottom.

      Does catch mozzies apart from the usual moths etc. We still have them on our patio, but fewer. The range seems exaggerated. I’m not sure whether the optional lure does anything at all. After running out of the first lure, there seems to be no difference in effectiveness. We run it on 240V via USB charger. 500mA is all it draws. Summary, Good, but not as good as we had hoped.

      This one works! I’ve previously tried several other traps from different companies and they did not work. This one worked from the very first time I put it on. It works better with the trap booster. I noticed a significant drop in mosquito numbers after 2-3 weeks of using every night.
      The device itself is very quiet and the rechargeable battery makes it very versatile. This is a really great mozzie trap. I’ve been able to sleep better without hearing the annoying mosquito buzz every night through summer.
