Really Serious Pro Fly Trap can be used around domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. It has water-soluble sachets that dissolve in the water and when put in the trap can attract a wide species of flies including house flies, flesh flies, blowflies, lesser house flies and horse flies.
You can now easily control flies outside of your home, offices, farms or food-handling establishments using the pesticide-free 100% natural bait to draw flies into this trap. This has unidirectional cones which do not open from the inside. Flies can easily enter the trap but get locked inside. The beauty of this trap is that many flies can enter the trap and it can trap all of them. However, the trap needs to be emptied, cleaned, refilled with cleaned water and fresh sachets every 30 to 60 days.

The 10L Really Serious Pro Fly Trap will trap more flies and would need to be emptied less frequently than the 5L but it would cover the same general area. The main lure for this trap is scent based, the size of the trap wouldn't factor too much into the coverage area.

Once the Really Serious Pro Fly Trap is full you remove the lid from the bucket and dipose of the dead flies (You can use dead flies as mulch for your garden!)
You would need to empty and refill the trap with clean water and new sachets every 30-60 days depending on the severity of the fly infestation and environmental conditions.
Yes, the Really Serious Pro Fly Trap would produce a smell. Smell is the most effective attractant for flies.

For the 5L bucket - drop 2 sachets into the bucket, add water, and place at a suitable elevation.
For the 10L bucket - drop 4 sachets into the bucket, add water, and place at a suitable elevation.
The sachets are water soluable and will disolve in the water over time.

Certainly works well and catches thousands of flies but the quality of manufacturing for the price is very poor. Essentially you’re paying $30 for a bucket – and it’s a poor quality light weight bucket. After two summers the lids on ours have completely disintegrated

This year we had record numbers, and 7 days after installing we witnessed a dramatic drop and full buckets of dead flys.
We have a large property surrounded by Nation Park in a rain forrest in FNQ.

Traps work well. My only other comment is it’s a shame the lids are not more secure. I had to tape mine on to make sure they did’t blow off in the wind.

Works amazing. Just topped up with water regularly as we are win a dry area. And still worked fine without any extra bait. Only downside is there is no option to buy the little black pieces separately if they break or get lost. My dog chewed mine so now need to pay over $65 for a brand new one instead of just spare parts.

Definitely attracts the flies – no question. But needs to be placed where congregating flies don’t pose an issue. Must also be refilled monthly which is challenging to the senses. This is the product though and it does the job as advertised.
