    Protite Epoxy Glass Coat Kit 750ml

    Protite Epoxy Glass Coat Kit 750ml are high gloss, extremely durable and scratch resistant with a glass-like finish. Designed for thin pours, equivalent to 60 coats of varnish and is a self-levelling 2-part epoxy system. Ideal for tables, bench tops, mosaics, plaques and small craft projects.

    • Sealing table tops, bench tops and bars
    • Arts, crafts & creative projects
    • Filling in knot holes in timber table tops

    Hey Rose,
    To prepare for using the Protite Epoxy Glass Coat Kit, follow these steps:

    Workstation Setup: Ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and dust-free. The area should have a temperature above 20°C and humidity below 60%.

    Surface Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly so it’s free of dust, grease, wax, and oil. For porous timber, apply a penetrating pore sealer to lock in tannins and oils. Allow it to dry completely.

    Masking: Use low-tack masking tape to protect areas you don’t want coated. Elevate the item about 5 cm above the work area to allow the coating to drip freely.

    Mixing: Combine the resin and hardener in a 2:1 ratio, mixing thoroughly to ensure a proper blend.

    Pouring and Application: Pour the mixture onto the surface and spread evenly. The product will self-level, but you may need to use a spreader to ensure complete coverage.
