The natural bait is placed in the plastic chamber at the base of the fly trap and water is added, an attractive scent is released for the surrounding flies. The flies will enter from the bottom part of the trap, from there they will fly up through the funnel and out into the outer chamber. The flies will not be able to escape and will be air-dried and dehydrated. This makes this trap different from others on the market. The special ventilating cover design prevents flies from falling down and laying eggs in the water. No messy flies or horrible soupy waste to get rid of. Each bait will last 3-6 weeks depending on fly infestation and time of the year. When the trap is full, contents can be emptied into a hole in the garden, to become an excellent organic fertilizer.
