What are the active ingredients?
Pestrol Automatic Insect Control contains 9g/kg Natural Pyrethrins, 45g/kg Piperonyl Butoxide.
What is Pyrethrins?
Pyrethrins are derived from chrysanthemum daisies which are highly toxic to pests. Since they are directly extracted from the plant it makes them non-toxic to humans. Pyrethrins are biodegradable and break down very quickly and in sunlight. Mother nature is very smart and unlike synthesized chemical replicas – the daisies change their smell constantly so that the insects don’t get immunity against it.
What is Piperonyl Butoxide?
Piperonyl Butoxide is an organic compound and a synergist used to enhance the killing power of active ingredients. It also helps reduce the amount of the main active ingredient used.
How long does it take to work?
Within 30 minutes you will see a significant improvement in the elimination of Flies, Mosquitoes and most common household insects. After a few days, you will also notice a substantial decrease in Cockroach activity.
How long does a refill last?
The lifespan of your refills will depend on the frequency and settings used.

Can I Use the Indoor Unit Outside?
If the area is partially enclosed the unit will work effectively. However, make sure to use it in the shortest setting. If the area is completely open, then the air circulation will affect the Indoor unit’s effectiveness. We recommend using the Outdoor Unit for outside, which dispersers micro-mist every 30 seconds.

The Pestrol Ultra Dispenser can be set to Day, Night, or 24 Hour operation times utilizing the light sensor on the dispenser, and has timing intervals of 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

There should have been a small pamphlet in the box for your Pestrol Ultra Dispenser - Indoor, but the operation is pretty simple on this device.
On the side of your dispenser, you'll find the On/Off button.
On the inside of the dispenser, you'll have two switches to program the operation time.
On the left, you have your spray timer interval, this can be set to either 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
On the right you have your operation time, this can be set to 24 hours, day or night, which is controlled by a light sensor on the front of the dispenser.

For the Pestrol Ultra Dispenser - Indoor, it has a couple of different programmable functions. You can set your spray timer interval to either 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The unit has a light sensor built in, so you can have the operating time set to either 24/7, day or night.
The unit will spray within these operating parameters, for example, if you set the spray timer to 5 minutes, and set the operating time to night, the unit will only activate when the room is dark, and will spray at 5 minute intervals, once light is detected, the unit will go into standby mode.
