Using this in the colder months is working well (less pest activity though).
I purchased this to repel some garden rodents and also some animal that was stripping my mandarin tree’s bark (probably rodents). I also got sick of the possums stomping across our timber fence line at 2pm in the morning. I moved it around each day as we were in lockdown. It got rid of all three rodents and much more effectively than our regular pest control guy.
The surprising thing was that when I was outside having a coffee, it also repelled my two primary school children. My husband – who is an audiologist – explained that their hearing is much more sensitive to high pitch noises than us oldies whose cochlear haircells die due to age (presumably by too much wine, partying, and AC/DC). It came in extremely handy when I needed peace and quiet during lockdown and I would have this little device near me so that when they came to pester me for the iPad, the motion sensor would go off and they would run back into the house and I could have my coffee/wine in peace.
Really good so far, keeping the deer out of the garden, works well
