Some birds still landing on spikes
Love it! Only gripe, no space to drill screws in from top. Due to our thin gate profile i could bend the sides down which is great but couldnt get screws in there either due to gate design. Only option was glue and have tried so many different glues now without 100% success.
stopped the cats and birds from walking on the fence – so far
I purchased this product based on the (highly favourable) reviews, but its been completely ineffective. The possums literally walk along the spikes without any impediment (I have video of them doing just that), so while they may keep out other pests, they are no problem at all for possums to walk along. Picture shows a grab from the video.
Quick reply and fast postage.
Only 1 cat thought it could clear the spikes.. It hasnt come back ! Problem fixed. Great product.
Very good service
Cats have found it difficult get in so mission accomplished.
This product has proven to be significantly effective in counteracting our Possum problem. Easy to install. Fast delivery.
Great product, good for keeping the possums away
Excellent product
Nice product. Installed on a standard suburban paling fence, they cut easily and fold easily to wrap over the top of the fence post.( the cat can shimmy up the post to the top, with the devils on top he does not even bother anymore.) I used an extension bit on my screw gun as the spikes are long and foul the chuck. Installed on top of the fence posts and I used the Anti Climb Fence Spikes for Cats and Possums on the top rail. This only worked for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The cat worked out that with a boost off the middle rail he could tolerate the spikes on the top rail and get over the fence. I added more on the middle rail and my cat hates them as he cannot launch off the spikes with his back legs and has currently given up trying to climb the fence altogether. Pestrol has saved me a small fortune in cat netting. Had I used the prickly devils for the top rail instead of the smaller clear ones, I believe I would not have had to do the middle rail at all. The have a nice Goth look if you are into it 🙂 securely screwed in they could deter humans from climbing.
It just works, what else could you ask for?
