Hey Kathy,
We have a video showing how to replace the globes on an older model of the Exterminator, the steps are mostly the same to separate the head from the middle of the unit.

The difference in the Exterminator Globe Type 2, when you've separated the head, there's a small bracket holding the globe in place, unscrew that, and push it to the side, pull down on the globe to remove it from the unit, insert the new globe and tighten that bracket again.
Place the head back on the unit and press down, once you feel it click into place it'll be ready to go!

The system works really well, but the Type 2 globes are a ridiculous price for how long they last. I would give 5 stars if the cost to replace the globes and the boosters were lower.
I had to find globs on a competitor site that were half the price.

I have had the EXTERMINATOR unit for 2 months now and am delighted with the result. Not just my back deck, but the whole of my back yard has seen a dramatic reduction in mossies! We can sit on the back deck again in peace, or play a game of pool, or work on the bonsai trees, all which used to be plagued by annoying mossies, but no more, it is the answer I have been looking for for years!
The reduction in mossies is 99%, not all of them, but certainly most! I am not sure of the benefit of the odour satchel, but it certainly stinks ( up close only, you cannot smell it in the machine ) The fan noise is quiet but constant, hearable if you are close, but not an issue generally at all. I wonder how long the fan will last or if it costly to replace.
Overall, an awesome product, I have recommended it to others already, and will continue to do so. Regards, Paul
