I have steamed my carpets 3 times; the last time I sprayed water with eucalyptus and tea tree oil in first on the carpets, as the first 2 times, it didn’t get rid of the carpet mites.
I am still waiting to see if it worked 3dr time.
Although a bit mystified as to what the “Pleasure Valve” (as mentioned on the box) is for, it’s a neat little tool we’ve found a lot of uses for, such as cleaning the sliding door track and other hard to reach places. It heats up quickly, is easy to use.

I am so glad I bout this steamer easy to get into every nook and crannie. I used 3 times over 3 weeks and eradicated bugs in conjunction with specialist pest control.
Unfortunately it spits water, even through the towel sleeve. so I hesitate to use it on the bedclothes.
