What is the Anti Bird Wire Deterrent 100m?

This system involves using anchors, springs, and a 1.2mm 7×7 weave of SUS304 Coated Stainless steel wire to create a deterrent for birds landing and perching on ledges, girders, and a whole lot more surfaces! Ideal for both residential and commercial applications, you can tailor your needs with the extras for anchor type, and how many spring grips you’ll need for your particular installation.

Using a 1.2mm thick wire makes it so that this deterrent will be virtually invisible. Keep the birds away, without ruining your building’s aesthetic!

What will get you excited about this system is the time you’ll save in installation! By using the Anti Bird Wire Deterrent 100m spool of wire, and by selecting the appropriate amount of anchors and spring grips, once you get to work, you’ll find yourself finished in less time than other systems on the market! Plan so you know how much you’ll require, attach the Spring Grips to one end to begin with, and thread the wire through your anchors, when you get to the final point, attach the other Spring Grip, pull any excess wire through until taught, and that’s it!

What will I need to install?

The Bird Wire Deterrent system will need the following, which you can purchase as Add Ons;

• Wire
• Spring Grips
• Anchors

Each length of wire will require 2 Spring Grips, and for every 2 metres of wire to be run, you’ll require an Anchor Point. For example, 4m of wire will require 2x Spring Grips, and 3x Anchors to complete installation!

What’s an Anchor?

The anchors play a crucial role in the stability of your Bird Wire installation, we offer two types, Stainless Steel Anchor Rods and Clamp Anchor Rods.

Stainless Steel Anchor Rods

These rods are more suitable for flat surfaces, made from SUS304 Stainless Steel. Please Note: Screws are NOT included with these anchors, as the screw you’ll need will vary depending on the surface it will be installed on.

Clamp Anchor Rods

Clamp Anchor Rods are more suitable when attaching the Bird Wire Deterrent to a thin ledge (girders as an example). The rod is made from SUS304 Stainless Steel, and the base is made from hot-dipped galvanized steel.
