Parsley Italian Plain Leaf Seeds – Yates is an upright-growing variety with large, flat leaves. Italian parsley’s stronger flavour makes it a favourite for a wide range of dishes.
Sow in pots or trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix or sow direct into garden position. Press seed in and barely cover. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant or thin when big enough to be handled.
Best grown in full sun to semi-shade. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food at regular intervals. Keep well watered. Remove flowering stems to encourage leafy growth. Grows well in pots. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Great companion plant for beans, onions, tomatoes and roses. Pick outside leaves to encourage centre growth. Water at base of plant to reduce risk of disease.
