In their native environments, orchids pull nutrients from decomposing leaves, animal droppings, and minerals carried by rainwater. To encourage your orchids to grow faster and bloom more brilliantly, the right fertilizers are essential. Look for products rich in nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), along with vital trace elements like iron. These elements play crucial roles:

• Potassium (K): Orchids depend on it for exquisite flower and fruit development.
• Phosphorous (P): This is the key to bountiful flower production.
• Nitrogen (N): It fuels healthy vegetative growth.

The frequency of feeding depends on factors like the type of orchid, the time of year, and the overall plant health. Studies have shown that feeding should start with more nitrogen when new shoots appear, while an increase in phosphorous and potassium is crucial toward the end of the season.

• Container Reuse: Reduce waste by adding 5mL of Orchid Boost concentrate to your used container and top it off with water.
