No Survivor Moth Trap!

No Survivor Moth Trap targets the Indian meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella) and the Mediterranean Flour Moth (Ephestia kuehniella), utilizing cutting-edge pheromone technology to lure and capture these unwelcome guests. Safe, non-toxic, and highly effective, the No Survivor Moth Trap is an essential addition to any pest management strategy in your home. Designed to be used with a pheromone lure.

How It Works: The Power of Pheromones

Natural and Effective

  • Pheromone Attraction: Leveraging pheromones, which are natural signalling compounds produced by insects, these traps draw moths into a sticky demise without the use of harmful chemicals.
  • Integrated Pest Management: This trap is designed as a key component of a broader pest control plan, complementing sanitation, inspection, and the removal of infested materials for maximum effectiveness.

Easy to Use and Maintain

  • Long-Lasting Efficiency: Keep the traps fresh by replacing the lures every 60 days. The trap itself needs replacement only when it’s full or loses its stickiness.
  • Strategic Placement: A single trap can cover a small room like a pantry, with larger areas requiring additional traps. For best results, place them at eye level in areas prone to moth activity.

Assembly and Usage

Simple Assembly

  1. Prepare the Trap: Follow the easy steps to pull apart and fold the trap into place, as detailed in the included instructions.
  2. Insert Lures: Place the pheromone lures inside the trap, attracting specific pests to the sticky interior.
  3. Secure and Hang: Use the provided blue twist-tie hangers for easy hanging in areas prone to pest activity, especially around food storage areas.
  4. Regular Checks: Monitor the traps and replace them every two months, or sooner if they are full or lose effectiveness.

Monitoring Made Easy

  • Capture and Monitor: By attracting male pests, these traps help you understand and manage your pest situation effectively.
  • Non-Toxic Convenience: If glue comes into contact with skin, it’s safe and easily washable with soap and water.

Ideal Usage Scenarios for No Survivor Moth Trap

Perfect for use in areas of your home most vulnerable to moth infestation, such as:

  • Kitchens and pantries where grains, cereals, nuts, and dried fruits are stored.
  • Pet food and bird seed storage areas, are another common haunt for these pests.

Opt for the No Survivor Moth Trap to safeguard your pantry and storage areas from moth invasions. By capitalizing on the innate behaviours of moths with pheromone technology, this trap offers a straightforward, eco-friendly solution to maintain a pest-free environment in your home.

What to use for carpet moth Spray , powder ,sticky traps ect Tony asked on 1 May 2024

Hey Tony,
No Survivor Moth Traps are more useful for the species listed in the description, but for carpet moths, a lot of our customers have reported Diatomaceous Earth as a solution

https://www.pestrol.com.au/buy-online/ozz-organic-diatomaceous-earth/

It works by dehydrating the insects through its abrasive action on their exoskeletons. For best results, you should thoroughly vacuum the affected areas first to remove any visible moths, larvae, or eggs. Then, apply a thin layer of diatomaceous earth to the carpets, rugs, and other affected fabrics. It's important to work the powder into the fibers with a brush or broom.

Leave the diatomaceous earth on the treated areas for at least 24 hours to ensure it has time to affect the moth larvae and eggs. After the treatment period, vacuum up the diatomaceous earth thoroughly. Depending on the severity of the infestation, you may need to repeat this process to completely eradicate the moths.

Keep in mind that while diatomaceous earth is non-toxic to humans and pets, it's still advisable to wear a dust mask during application to avoid inhaling the fine powder, as it can irritate the respiratory system.
