Using Natrually Based Fruit Fly Spray, starting 4 weeks before harvest. Repeat once a week.
Normal rate: mix 25 mL per litre of water.
High rate: mix 50 mL per litre of water*
Spray fruit trees, particularly the fruit, thoroughly.
*Use the higher rate if pest pressure is moderate to high.

Richgro's Naturally Based Fruit Fly Spray 500mL contains pyrethrins, which are harmful to bees. While it is effective for controlling fruit flies, it can also negatively impact bees if they come into contact with the spray. To minimize the risk to bees, it's important to avoid spraying the product on open flowers or when bees are actively foraging.
