NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray!

NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray is an organically registered contact insecticide designed to combat harmful soft-bodied insects. It offers effective pest control with no withholding period, making it a great choice for both home gardeners and commercial growers.

What Does NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray Do?

NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray contains potassium salts combined with fatty acids derived from natural oils. These naturally occurring fatty acids are highly effective against a variety of soft-bodied insects and mites.

Effective Against a Wide Range of Pests

NatraSoap is a fast-acting organic contact insecticide that effectively targets pests such as:

  • Aphids
  • Thrips
  • Mealybugs
  • Whiteflies
  • Leafhoppers
  • Two-Spotted Mites
  • Spider Mites

You can use it on a diverse range of outdoor crops, fruit trees, vegetables, nurseries, ornamentals, and hothouse plants.

How Does NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray Work?

NatraSoap works as a contact insecticide that requires thorough coverage for maximum effectiveness. When it directly contacts pests, it begins to break down their trachea, leading to their demise. Its surface-active properties provide a unique mode of action that helps prevent pest resistance.

Enhanced Performance with SprayTech Oil: For improved pest control, mix NatraSoap with SprayTech Oil. This combination increases droplet deposition and retention, enhancing rainfastness and overall performance.

Environmentally Friendly and Safe: NatraSoap is a selective insecticide, meaning it has minimal adverse effects on beneficial insects, including bees and predatory mites. This makes it a valuable component of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Cost-Effective and Safe: NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray is cost-effective and leaves no harmful residues. Its nil residual ensures a safe environment and immediate re-entry, making it a practical choice for effective and environmentally friendly pest management.

Key Benefits

  • Organic Approval: Approved for use in organic crops.
  • Biodegradable: Low toxicity to vertebrates and safe for the environment.
  • Multiple Modes of Action: Reduces the risk of pest resistance.

Hi there Can I spray the white scale which has appeared on my young Cymbidium? Thank you. Paula Jory asked on 8 February 2025

Hey Paula,
Yes, you can use NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray to treat white scale on a young Cymbidium orchid. NatraSoap is effective against a variety of pests, including scale, by blocking their breathing pores and dissolving their outer covering, leading to dehydration and death.

Given that NatraSoap is a contact insecticide, thorough coverage is essential for its effectiveness. Additionally, consider combining this treatment with other methods, such as removing old leaf sheaths and isolating the plant to prevent further infestation.

Always refer to the products label and guidelines on how to apply this product correctly.

Hi there. We are having a heatwave an I'm struggling to control thrips. I'm wondering what temperature can you apply natrasoap at. Thank you Jane Cisera asked on 31 January 2025

In hot weather, it's important to apply NatraSoap Insecticidal Soap Spray at cooler times of the day, ideally early morning or late afternoon, to avoid heat stress on your plants. It can generally be applied safely at temperatures up to 30°C (86°F), but avoid applying it during peak heat (midday) as this can cause leaf burn or damage. Always check the product label for any specific temperature guidelines and make sure to spray evenly on both the tops and undersides of leaves to target thrips effectively.

Can this be used on Australian Christmas Bush? Kerry asked on 24 September 2024

Hey Kerry,
NatraSoap INsecticidal Soap Spray is an organically registered contact insecticide that contains potassium salts combined with fatty acids sourced from natural oils. It's useful on a wide variety of plants, while Australian Christmas Bush isn't mentioned specifically, I would say it would be fine. Whenever trying any new product on the plant, try it on a small out of sight area first before treating the rest of the plant to see what the reaction would be.
