This Eco-Friendly formulation is certified by the NASAA with very low toxicity to pets and people!
EcoPest protects in two ways, first, when spraying the plant, by deterring pests from laying eggs and from using your plants as a feeding ground, and when you’re spraying the insects directly by blocking the insects breathing air holes (spiracles) and by lining their breathing tubes (tracheae) which will then suffocate or drown the insect. EcoPest can also interact with the insects’ fatty acids, and interferes with their normal metabolism!

Multicrop EcoPest Oil Insect Spray

The mixture rate for Multicrop EcoPest Oil Insect Spray Concentrate will vary depending on the situation and pest controlled.
In a situation with Citrus;
Citrus Leafminer - 5mL per 1L of water - Spray ever 5 to 14 days as required during flush growth periods (Spraying is more likely to be required in Summer and Autumn). Start Spraying when flushes are about 4cm long. Ensure that all immature leaves are thoroughly wetter on both sides. Do not spray more than 8 times per season.
Red Scale - 15-25mL per 1L of water - Apply in December and / or February - March. Use higher rate for severe infestations.
White Wax Scale, Pink Wax Scale - 15-25mL per 1L of water - Apply December / Early January
Black Scale - 15-25mL per 1L of water - Apply mid December . early January. Repeat in February.
Soft Brown Scale - 15-25mL per 1L of water - Apply January/April. Use higher rate for (Tas & WA) when infestation is severe.
In a situation with Grapes;
Grapevine Scale - 30mL per 1L of water - May be controlled by spraying the dormant vines in winter Preferably after pruning.
In a situation with Roses, indoor and Outdoor Ornamentals;
Scale, Aphid, Whitefly (Not QLD), Mealy Bugs - 30mL per 1L of water - Apply as required
In a situation with Stone Fruit (eg. Plums, Peaches, Apricots & Pome Fruit (eg. Apples, Pears)
San Jose Scale, Oyster Shell Scale, Spider Mites - 20 - 30mL per 1L of water - Apply during dormant period up to green tip (Pome Fruit) or bud swell (Stone Fruit).

Soft Scale: Multicrop EcoPest Oil is effective against soft scale insects like brown soft scale and black scale.
Hard Scale (White Scale): Although it primarily targets soft scale, the spray can also help control some types of hard scale, including white scale on roses. However, complete eradication may require multiple applications due to the protective coating of hard scales.
Application Tips:
Thoroughly coat the infested plant, ensuring coverage of both sides of the leaves, branches, and stems.
For hard scale insects, you may need to apply the spray at 7-10 day intervals to break their lifecycle.
Prune heavily infested branches if necessary, to reduce the population and allow better penetration.
Preventive Measures:
Monitor your plants regularly and apply the spray early if scale is detected.
Maintain good plant health through proper watering, fertilization, and pruning.

Multicrop EcoPest Oil Insect Spray is an Organic certified oil based product which can cause burning on some herbs. Our supplier does not recommend using this spray on immature plants, but it can be used indoors.
