    Mozzie Master Mosquito Trap

    Mozzie Master Mosquito Trap is our brand new Mosquito Trap designed to help alleviate the issue of getting bitten while enjoying our property’s surroundings.

    Pestrol Australia has provided expert advice and product DIY solutions for Australians for over 20 years. Our latest Mozzie Master attracts and traps annoying flying insects to give you the freedom to go back outside with confidence.

    The specially designed Mosquito Trap allows you to either hang the unit from the hook or simply place it on a flat surface so you can be protected no matter where you are around your property. This insect control trap will cover up to 1/4 – 1/2 of an acre.

    How Does It Work

    1. A UV fluorescent bulb generates a warm light, attracting mosquitoes and other flying insects.
    2. The unit is covered with a TiO2 titanium dioxide-coated surface that, when mixed with air particles, produces small quantities of CO2 that is irresistible to mosquitoes.
    3. A whisper-quiet but powerful vacuum sucks the insects into the dry storage chamber, where the insects dehydrate and die.
    4. Place the unit away from any other competing light source and where possible, at least a few metres from where you will be.

    How To Set It Up

    Optimal Placement

    • Position the trap between mosquito breeding areas and human activity zones
    • Place the trap 6-9 meters away from where people gather
    • Locate upwind of mosquito sources when possible
    • Set up in a predominantly shaded area
    • Choose a location protected from rain and strong winds

    Trap Setup

    • Install the trap 1-2 meters off the ground
    • If hanging traps, suspend about 2 meters above ground level
    • Ensure easy accessibility for maintenance

    Timing and Operation

    • Start using at the beginning of mosquito season (when temperatures consistently reach 20°c)
    • Run the trap continuously 24/7 for best results
    • Turn off other nearby light sources to maximize attractiveness

    Maintenance

    • Empty the trap regularly, typically every 1-3 weeks
    • Clean the trap when emptying to prolong its life
    • Replace attractants and bulbs as recommended by the manufacturer

    • Experiment with different locations to find the most effective placement
    • Use multiple traps for larger properties to create a defensive perimeter

    The Mozzie Master Mosquito Trap plugs into a standard Australian Outlet. The globes last for approximately 3000 hours, and they can easily be replaced.

    The Mozzie Master Mosquito Trap is weather resistant and can handle outdoor environments, the only times we would suggest bringing it in under cover would be if there's severe/heavy storms forecasted.

      The products are great but unfortunately the delivery by Aramex leads a real lot to be desired very slow no communication they have a tracking system that doesn’t work they don’t reply to your messages or email may be you should request Aust Post I am awaiting another parcel actually spare globes for the units and yep still in transit from Sydney was supposed to be here on 30/1/25 it’s now 1/2/25 and again no response from Aramex the tracker says your items have been delayed again not happy
      Note the freight company is a big let down to your company just checked my tracking and it’s still somewhere just out of Sydney it’s a joke I won’t be recommending this company

      Certainly attracts and kills every moth for miles around. Hopefully does the same for mozzies, but hard to tell underneath all of the moth bodies! However, I haven’t suffered a mosquito bite recently, so presume it is doing what it says on the box!
