Manutec Hydrangea Blueing Fertiliser is a specific fertiliser developed to maintain safe nutrient levels and optimum pH values that are suitable for producing blue hydrangeas.
As soil pH determines sepal colour in hydrangeas, it is most important that the pH of the soil or potting media is determined and adjusted prior to the growing period.
Any pH between 5.5 and 6.0 is acceptable during plant growth, but when forcing begins the pH for a crop of blue sepals must be 5.5 or lower.
pH can be lowered by adding sulphur to the media and maintained by the regular use of this solution.

Manutec Hydrangea Blueing Agent 500g
Hey Trevor,
To use Manutec Hydrangea Blueing Agent, please use these directions;
1. Dissolve 20g of PART 1 to 5 litres of Water.
2. Add 20g of PART 2 into the same 5L of solution and dissolve.
3. Apply this 5 litres of solution over 5 square metres, or to he soil surrounding four full size Hydrangeas.
4. For Potted plants, apply 1 litre solution per 15cm Pots and 2-3 litres for 30cm pots.
5. Applications to start soon after winter pruning. Repeat every 2 weeks, until flowering is finished.
