Our new Large Fence and Wall Spikes are the perfect addition to our range to deter pesky cats and possums, but also perfect to deter human intruders.
Plastic deterrent spikes are becoming very popular in Australia for multiple reasons:

- Keep other pets out.
- Ideal to stop possums and rats running along with your fence or wall areas.
- Increasingly getting used as security spikes to stop people climbing over your fence or walls.

Made from UV stabilised PVC material. Can be painted over to fit in with any existing outdoor colour schemes. Our spikes can be fixed to the structure through either our special silicon adhesive or simply screw or nail through the randomly placed holes that have created in the mould of the anti-animal prevention spikes.
Which Pestrol plastic spike is right for me?
3 Different Pestrol Deterrent Spikes:
1: Fence Spikes
- Narrow – flexible Lengthwise only. – Easily separated through 4 breakpoints; making it easier for flat surface installation.
2: Flexible Fence Spikes
- Narrow – Flexible Lengthwise and Widthwise – Great for bending along the contour of a shaped surface. Can also be separated into 3 long pieces.
3: Large Fence and Wall Spikes
- Significantly wider – Has the same qualities as spike 2; only larger with 1 extra row of spikes. Great for covering larger areas. (Just released)

These categorically DO NOT WORK on possums. I have numerous photos to prove. I feel a little cheated as was sold these based upon advice given by Pestrol. I can only imagine that as experts, Pestrol, already knew they do not work. Not sure where the other reviews have come from, whether this review makes it on the product page will prove if they are legitimate or not. I suppose it can always go on Google instead.
Hi Barry, unfortunately just like humans there is a varying degree of pain that some animals are prepared to walk across to escape danger or to obtain food. We generally have very good success with this product and sorry to see that we didn’t have success with you. We don’t want to make the spikes any sharper as we don’t want to hurt the animals.
