* I had mousie scratching noises from the attic for weeks and it was driving me nuts. I generally didn’t have much faith in ultrasonic repellers, but I figured I would try this product because the seller would help if it didn’t work. I didn’t have power in the attic to plug the unit into, so I simply placed it on top of a bookshelf (about a foot from the ceiling) in the room where the noises were the worst. I can hear some clicks from the unit when I’m in that room, but otherwise, I don’t notice it. After a few days, the mousie noises cleared up! I’ve been keeping track, and the mousies try to return about once a month now. I don’t have to do anything special – the mousie noises never last more than a day or two and the unit drives them away. *It works wonderfully! After weeks and weeks of killing mice only to have another one take its place I got tired and started doing a little research. I found a lot of ultrasound mice repellents but all the others reviews were mixed. This one looked the most promising and I have to say that since I plugged it in I have not seen a single mouse in my apartment. Just plug into electricity and the unit can be used indoors at any time. You will begin to notice a difference within the first two weeks however please note you may see increased activity first as the rodents will come out of hiding. Leave the unit plugged in day and night, all year round for continuous protection from rodents.
Please do not place the unit on carpeted surfaces, behind furniture, draperies or other soft objects as they will absorb the sound waves. Do not place the unit next to your ear when operating the test mode. Do not use the unit outdoors or let the water come into contact with the unit.

The Impact Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller can be an effective solution to deter rats from entering areas such as your verandah and garden. These devices work by emitting high-frequency sound waves that are unpleasant to rodents but are usually inaudible to humans and non-rodent pets. Placing the repeller on your verandah facing the garden could help keep rats away from your flower and vegetable pots, as long as the sound waves are not obstructed by walls or other barriers and the area covered by the device includes where the rats are active.
For best results, ensure that the repeller covers the entire area where you're experiencing issues with rats. Additionally, removing attractants such as pet food, securing garbage bins, and eliminating standing water can further help reduce the presence of rodents.
The Impact Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller has a frequency range that should for the most part only be audible to rodents. It should be fine, but as there are so many different breeds of dogs out there, there could be a couple of breeds with good hearing that might pick up on the sound.
It could also depend on where you're setting up the unit, if the dog spends most of their time inside the house, and you've got the Impact set up in a garage for example, as it's a sound based deterrent, it'd be very unlikely that the dog would hear it at all!
Whenever you're using anything Ultrasonic in nature, it's always best to monitor your dogs behaviour after installing the device to ensure that they aren't being bothered by the noise. So far so good. Haven’t heard any rodent activity but that doesn’t mean they’re not there. Have to wait for summer to fully kick in for the real test.
Great product, really works
We’ve been trying to get rid of what I’d call the most intelligent Rodent I’ve come across for the past several months. Nothing could sway this beast until we installed the Imapct Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller. Within days it packed it’s bags and headed off into the wilderness. Unfortunately we found the poor creature dead in the garden. Cat I’d say! So we gave it a respectful burial.
Certainly know it’s functioning. No mice or rats to be seen! Would benefit from having a 90 degree power connector rather than the straight one provided. The straight connector prevents the unit from being placed on a flat surface with the DC input underneath.

I have a few of the rodent repellers and highly recommend these products. My neighbors who were catching 3 and 4 mice each day, now have zero after using my repeller for a couple of weeks. You can’t go wrong when purchasing these.
I love this repeller, what I thought was a mouse between the walls near the garage door is now gone ever since I placed this wonderful object near that door. Was it a mouse or a possum?
