    Precautions

For citrus gall wasp, it's better to use targeted treatments like insecticidal soaps or oil sprays that are designed for wasp control.     I have 10 Variegated Elm trees approx 10 years old,(approx 3-4 metres high) have found the Elm tree beetle on a few trees yesterday, will a 1 L bottle of the above product be sufficient to do a soil drench to kill these beetles, thank you Robyn asked on 24 January 2025

      Imidacloprid has solved my ongoing shield bugs (stink bug) infestations finally! I have tried so many other foliar sprays to no avail. I did a foliar spray on a large Hardenbergia climber that was being decimated every year. They started dying off straight away and within a few minutes there were hundreds dropping to the ground. Next was soft scale all over my Chinese Elm trees that are too tall to spray so I did a soil drench. The next day all the scale were dead. So relieved as they were killing my trees. I also use this as a meat ant nest drench which gives me about a months reprieve (they are so prevalent out here in the Flinders Ranges). Its great stuff and I don’t expect to have to treat the trees again for a few years since the half life in soil is quite long.
