I have never seen so many dead bugs !!!!!
The dead bugs don’t drop into the tray, even though the tray is underneath where the bugs should fall. Consequently we need to use a very fine “drain” brush to clear and clean the wire frame. The device certainly kills the bugs, but it would help if there was an easier way to clear the dead bugs away. Unless they are removed fairly quickly, a bad odour occurs.
Quite effective as per the product description with a a guesstimate of about a 75 percent reduction in mosquitos.The mosquito borne bacterium responsible for Buruli ulcers is in our area so it is important to protect from it.One minor criticism is that cleaning brush needs to be slightly narrower fit through the grill more easily.

I had a fault with this unit and returned it to the Pestrol warehouse where I expected a replacement. Instead, I got a repair by a very helpful Carl, who was able to do this while I waited because I needed the unit for a party this weekend. The hybrid mosquito trap is ideal for workshop large outdoor entertaining area to rid mosquitos and a few other bugs…it does it without sound but the results are in the tray that is easily emptied. It is electric but note it stays turned if you have a power outage. Highly recommend this product.
WOW, amazing ,although with DC12v Adaptor but rather powefull ,can catch almost 99.99% flies and mosqutioes,inserts for my family at home.absoubtly recommendation
Bought one of these last week and it’s so good I am buying 2 more. We live near water. I even brought it inside one night overnight. Couldn’t believe how many mozzies it caught inside.

A locally designed product and simple to use. I like the fact that it had a removable tray that is held in place by magnets.
This makes it quick and easy to remove for cleaning.
We are using it in our outdoor kitchen area and it works well. Because it is compact it is great to take with us and use when we go away.
This unit has 2 modes and we just set and forget.
This unit uses UV light to attract insects and then has 2 fans, that are quite, to suck the insects in onto an electric grid.
An additional assessory would be to have a dc to dc power adaptor if you intend to take camping.
