Humane Snake Trap – 2 Door is a safe relocation trap for Small to Medium snakes. A brand new release from Pestrol for the 2021-22 season after many requests from our customers Australia-wide.
It is illegal in Australia to kill snakes, they are needed for our ecosystem like any other animal, but just not around our homes. Besides, snakes only hurt people in self-defence and try to avoid humans wherever possible. Trap them, carry them away and leave them somewhere in the wild, far from your home.
Our amazing safe snake trap is perfect for animal lovers. The trap works by allowing small and medium snakes to enter to retrieve the bait and are unable to escape. Allowing you to safely transport the snake and release it back to the wild, many km from where you live.
Important Notice: Our snake traps are designed for the humane capture and release of troublesome snakes. It is essential to comply with local wildlife regulations and guidelines to ensure the safe and legal handling of captured reptiles!

At this stage, the Humane Snake Trap - 2 door is the only snake trap that we sell, we don't have anything larger.

The Humane Snake Trap has a strange shape to it, kind of like a figure-8 at it's longest point it's 2cm long and width is 1cm, but narrows into the centre at about 0.5cm

This thing CAUGHT a troublesome brown snake on the first day we put it out!
Great product
Worked an absolute treat, we used the trap to catch and relocate six Skinks (we thought we only had 2!!) Trick was to place something heavy on top of the cage, as Skinks are quite strong and can flip the cage over and escape, which happened with the first one we caught. We have now no Skinks, but have left the baited trap at the bottom of our property near the chook pen incase there is a pesky tiger snake around. 10/10 Pestrol ??
No snakes caught yet but we did catch a big blue tongue ? And we still hope to catch a snake ? because they’re about
still haven’t caught the snake, but seems like a well made product.
I’m yet to catch the brown I was after , but caught a massive bluey just using 2 chicken eggs in the cage as it was recommended. He couldn’t escape from the trap no matter how hard he tried.
