Description

GP MozX Granular Bti 20Kg for Effective Larvae Control!

The GP MozX Granular Bti 20Kg is your go-to solution for controlling mosquito larvae, particularly the salt marsh mosquito larvae, including Aedes vigilax, and dengue vectors like Aedes aegypti. This biological larvicide harnesses the power of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (BTi), a naturally occurring bacteria known for its effectiveness against mosquito larvae.

Key Features

Superior Bulk Density for Efficient Coverage

GP MozX stands out with its higher bulk density, offering up to twice the density of other Bti solid products. This unique feature enables aircraft to carry significantly higher payloads, reducing loading times and allowing aerial applicators to cover larger areas more efficiently.

No Spray Drift – Maximum Precision

Unlike lighter granules that can easily be blown off target, this dry granule formulation ensures zero spray drift. This precision allows you to apply the granules right up to the urban interface, ensuring effective control without the risk of contaminating surrounding areas.

Trusted Solution for Mosquito Control

Whether you’re battling mosquito larvae in salt marshes or urban environments, it offers a reliable, environmentally friendly solution that prioritizes both effectiveness and safety.

Applications

Perfect for use in a variety of settings, including:

  • Salt marshes
  • Urban areas
  • Areas prone to mosquito-borne diseases

Hi there I live at Northam in Western Australia and we are having bad mosquito problems. We think it is due to our leach drains being somewhat stagnant as there is not enough fall/slope. Thinking that flushing some of these granules into the leach drain could be a solution? Do you think it would be suitable for West Australian mosquito species? thanks. Rose Hancock asked on 11 January 2025

Hi Rose,
GP MozX Granular Bti can be an effective solution for controlling mosquito larvae in stagnant water, including in leach drains. This product contains Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti), which is a naturally occurring soil bacterium that produces toxins specifically targeting mosquito larvae.
Bti is indeed suitable for controlling mosquito species found in Western Australia. It has been used effectively in various parts of the state, including in the South West coastal regions where mosquito-borne diseases like Ross River virus and Barmah Forest virus are prevalent.
