Fence & Wall Spikes are strips of low profile PVC spikes. Fence & Wall Spikes are used to prevent unwanted animals such as possums, cats, birds and rodents from walking along or over fences and walls. The sharp spikes are designed to cause discomfort to the animal, without causing harm, and as a result, the animal avoids the areas where the Fence & Wall Spikes have been installed.
The neutral grey colour blends in most surroundings and is maintenance-free. However, Fence & Wall Spikes can be painted as needed to suit any colour scheme if desired.
By heating in water to around 80C Fence & Wall Spikes can be moulded to fit around various shapes & larger posts/pipes.

Possums just walk along it. I have video footage from security cameras and they aren’t phased by it at all, they happily walk along and stand on the spikes. Doesn’t work

I haven’t perfected installation but I think these will be good on our wooden privacy fence.

The possums are gone! I’ve tried a lot of different ways of getting rid of then and this has been effective and cheap!
Quick delivery and fence spikes are perfect to deter strangers from entering our pool area.
Easy to purchase, delivery was prompt, spikes just as described. Spikes are easy to install and appear to be successful so far, I can’t see any cat being willing to spike itself on these, they’re quite pointy. They also blend in nicely into the background. Only issue – communication was a little worrisome since this my first time dealing with Pestrol. I would have appreciated an email confirming my purchase and/or an electronic receipt but all worked out fine. Would buy from here again.
The sight of these seems to have done the trick in stopping our cat from jumping over the tall timber courtyard fence at our new townhouse. We thought we’d try these before spending the $$$ on bulky solutions or a microchip dog door (both of which may not have been successful anyway). The spikes are a lot harder and sharper than we expected so we are glad the cat had the sense not to try jumping and gripping the fence with them installed. Daring cats might have an unpleasant ouch! Postage was quick and traceable. Installation took only a few minutes.
They look good i have painted the colour of the fence , but i haven”t use them yet
More tape need on the bottom of the box, it was open at the post office when I collected it from the counter. The PO attendant could see what was in it. Box could have been a bit stronger.
Not sure what to use it for atm
THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK
I spent over $600 on these fence spikes, an entire weekend installing and 3 days later witnessed 3 possums walking the entire length of the fence, along the spikes, completely unphased ….
I’m now exploring other options and wish I took the advice of one similar negative review (including a photo of a possum walking on the spikes) which seems to have been removed from the reviews?

Excellent stuff just took a little long to be delivered!!! But all good!!
Have tried everything to grow our passion fruit vine that kept getting ruined by possums – the spikes on the fence have stopped the “possum super highway” – a great animal friendly way of allowing our vine to grow – and also has stopped the dog barking at possums at night ???
