Top notch
This is a great alternative to the traditional stinky fly traps in a bottle as the smell is very minimal and the dead flies just dry out in the sun. I like that it can be emptied and reused over and over. The effectiveness of the trap all depends on how appealing your bait is for flies. I found that liquid from a very potent old bottle fly trap worked the best. Within minutes with my potent lure I had caught a number of flies and within an hour it was at least 20. Much faster trap than the bottle kind. Downside is t’s the kind of trap you need to keep topping up every day or few days with an attractive lure – if you want to keep trapping flies. My order arrived swiftly and well packed. I recommended this trap to my dad who swiftly bought one too.
Flimsy. Didn’t really suit my purpose.
I like these traps, while you still have to use a smelly bait, it is a lot less mucky to deal with as the trapped blowflies dry out quickly in the sun. It seems to be a really effective trap.
The only improvement would be a larger opening somewhere to dispose of a large number of dead flies. At the moment shaking the dead flies out of a very small hole so you can refresh the trap is a pain
still in use, would like one that is reusable
