Installation Guide:
How to clean:
- Remove the holding tray and remove dead insects onto your garden or dispose of them as required.
- Wipe the tray before placing it back into the unit.
Extensive Clean: If visually, the unit has excessive amounts of insects stuck to the electric grid. (Once or twice a season)
- Make sure the cord is disconnected from the solar panel.
- Remove the access screws for the protective grill to access the electronic grid.
- Use a brush (provided) to dislodge and remove insects
- Replace the protective grill and screws.
- Reattach the cord to the solar panel.

First night in use at the camp compound in Lae, Papua New Guinea with 5 of 7 assembled and installed and in action and already a real “buzz” around camp, it’s like western magic to the local residents here and now the camp manager is already wanting more for bottom camp 5/5.
The sound of them being zapped is great as confirms yes this is a Defense system just like our compounds 10000V electric fence to keep us safe.

I love this solar bug zapper! It seems to attract & zap a lot more bugs than out smaller zappers, because it is so big. Great buy!
We live on acreage with a skeptic tank that is a breeding ground for mozzies. These had taken over our patio and prevented us from enjoying it.
