Remove the colour card from inside the trap.
Empty the contents of one Envirosafe Fly Attractant Refill sachet into the fly trap.
Add water, preferably warm.
Gently swirl to mix the attractant.
Place in your desired outdoor location. Ideally 1.5 – 2m above the ground, in a sunny spot sheltered from strong winds.

Envirosafe Fly Traps, when used with the attractant refills, lure a range of pest flies, including house flies, blowflies, and flesh flies. The Eco-Bait is specially formulated with non-toxic, food-grade ingredients to be incredibly effective at drawing flies into the trap. Note that Envirosafe fly traps do not attract fruit flies.
Once the trap is full, you can dispose of the contents by burying them 30 cm deep in the ground or composting them. Alternatively, you can place the contents in a container and dispose of them in the rubbish bin. After disposing of the contents, thoroughly wash the trap before refilling it with a new Eco-bait refill.
Yes, the Eco-bait used in Envirosafe Fly Traps is completely non-toxic and made from food-grade ingredients, making it safe to use around pets. However, it’s recommended to hang the trap securely out of reach of pets, as flies can carry disease. It is also advised not to feed the contents of the trap to chickens or other animals due to bacteria from the rotting flies.
